CLOSE TO CLOSE: Copper prices follow US stocks lower in LME kerb

Copper prices finished lower on Tuesday May 8 as a downward trend seen throughout the European session continued as US markets opened. Three-month copper closed at $8,095 per tonne, down from $8,175 per tonne on Friday, as equity indices lost more than 1% when trading got under way in the USA. Risk assets have come under pressure after voters in France and Greece....
