Indian ferrous scrap prices fall further as buyers look for domestic raw materials

Indian ferrous scrap import prices widened further this week on thin buying interest from Indian consumers, market participants told Metal Bulletin on Tuesday May 8.
The weakness of the rupee against the US dollar, in addition to comparatively stable domestic raw materials prices, has forced prices lower.
Most offers for shredded material were at $480-485 per tonne cfr Nhava Sheva, down from $485-490....
