Al Jazeera Steel Products Q1 profits rise 12% year-on-year

Net profits at Al Jazeera Steel Products rose by more than 12% in the first quarter of 2012 compared with the same period in 2011, as a new record for its merchant bar production and a rebound in pipe demand boosted earnings, the company’s latest financial statement shows. The Omani company said it made 1.13 million rials ($2.93 million) for the period, down from 1 million....
