Copper price stands firm above $8,000 in LME pre-market

Copper prices, firmly back above $8,000 per tonne, improved in pre-market trading on the London Metal Exchange on Thursday May 10, after staging a recovery in Wednesday’s kerb session. The red metal, basis three months, opened at $8,047.25 per tonne and was trading at $8,075.75 per tonne by 8:39 BST. The contract traded as high as $8,129.75 per tonne and dipped....
