CHINA STEEL WRAP: Rebar prices down again

Spot rebar prices fell again on Thursday May 10 as traders slashed prices once more before major longs producers Shagang and Hebei Steel announce their price policies for mid-May on Friday.
In Beijing, rebar prices dropped to 4,160-4,240 yuan ($659-671) per tonne, 10 yuan lower than Wednesday’s levels. Rebar prices in Shanghai also slid by 10 yuan to 4,000-4,180 yuan per tonne.
