New South African anthracite miner to ship in December to 'big name' Brazilian

South African anthracite miner Strategic Natural Resources (SNR), owner of the first mine in the Eastern Cape's coal fields, is scheduled to deliver its first consignment to a “big name company” in Brazil by the end of the year, ceo David Nel said.
SNR, which is listed on the Alternative Investment Market in London, announced on May 9 that it had signed an agreement with Swiss trading company Trasteel to sell the company’s thermal and anthracite coal for export through the jointly-owned company EliTra.
“We are very pleased with this deal,” Nel told Metal Bulletin.
