China germanium price jumps on domestic buying

Germanium prices jumped markedly in China this week as strong buying from big domestic producers lifted the market.  Metal Bulletin’s Chinese germanium price rose to 7,300-7,600 yuan ($1,160-1,206) per kg on Wednesday May 9, compared with 6,900-7,200 yuan last Friday.  “The buying mostly came from Yunnan....
