Southern Steel forms wire rod joint venture with Bekaert

Malaysia’s Southern Steel (SSB) has formed a joint venture with Belgian company Bekaert for the manufacture and sale of specified steel wires in Southeast Asia.
The joint venture, which has yet to be named, will have an initial share capital of S$10,000 ($8,000), with Bekaert holding....
