Molycorp posts $3.48 million loss but reaffirms guidance

NEW YORK Molycorp Inc. continues to expect a full-year production target of between 8,000 and 10,000 tonnes of rare earth oxides despite recording a net loss in the first quarter, the company said.
Losses at Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Molycorp widened to $3.48 million during the first quarter ended March 31 from a net loss of $2.2 million a year earlier even as sales almost tripled to $84.5 million due....
