NEW YORK Aluminum scrap trading activity has slowed, with sellers either waiting out depressed London Metal Exchange prices or easing prices to conclude business.
Prices for high-grade turnings weakened slightly to 73 to 74 cents per pound Thursday from 73 to 75 cents at the start of the week, and used beverage can (UBC) sales dropped to 74 to 76 cents per pound f.o.b. from 75 to 77 cents.....
