Shanghai copper prices edge down on market anxiety

Copper prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange inched down on Friday May 18 as investors remained cautious in the face of market uncertainty. SHFE August copper settled at 55,350 yuan ($8,771) per tonne, down 20 yuan from Thursday's settlement and 3.7% lower for the week. Copper held in SHFE official warehouses declined 13,635 tonnes to 173,814....
