Toyota spending $80M to ratchet up V6 production

CHICAGO — Toyota Motor North America Inc. will spend $80 million to more than double V6 engine production capacity at its Huntsville, Ala., operation.

When completed in March 2014, the Huntsville plant will be capable of producing 362,000 V6 engines annually, up from 146,000 currently.....
