‘Everything on table,’ RG’s Nelson says

NEW YORK — In a second asset-related move in as many days, a top RG Steel LLC executive said Thursday that the privately held steelmaker was evaluating a variety of options regarding the future of the facilities it purchased for a reported $1.2 billion early last year from Severstal North America Inc.

"Everything is on the table," Jerome "Jerry" Nelson, RG Steel’s chief commercial officer, told attendees at the 21st annual industry dinner sponsored by the Baltimore chapter of the Association of Women in the Metals Industries (AWMI) in Sparrows Point, Md. "Some facilities that are part of RG Steel today may not be a part in the future," Nelson said in response to a question from the floor.....
