Estate of Ohio scrap seller to repay EPA for cleanup costs

PITTSBURGH — The estate of a man who died in 2006 will pay the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency $279,750 toward the costs incurred in cleaning up a lead-contaminated site in Ohio.

The estate of Saul Senser, who owned Senser Metals Co., has 30 days to reimburse the EPA, according to a consent decree filed in U.S. District Court in Ohio. Senser was the last of the more than 50 responsible parties identified by the EPA.....
