A380.1 alloy prices drop another penny

NEW YORK — Secondary aluminum alloy prices are under pressure after A380.1, the most traded alloy, shed a penny on Monday.
A380.1 tags slipped to a range of $1.05 to $1.06 per pound from $1.06 to $1.07 per pound, a range it had held for barely a week.
Sources said depressed North American special aluminum alloy contract (Nasaac) prices on the London Metal Exchange had combined with a slight softening in some scrap prices to bring weakness to A380.1 tags.....
