Trevali buys mill to ease Halfmile start-up

Trevali Mining will complete the $23.8 million acquisition of the Caribou milling and mine complex from Maple Minerals by the end of 2012, which will be fed by its Halfmile mine in New Brunswick , the company told Metal Bulletin.
Canada-based Trevali earlier signed a toll-milling agreement with Xstrata under which the diversified miner would buy material from Trevali's polymetallic zinc-lead-silver-copper deposits at Halfmile to process at its Brunswick operations, Metal Bulletin reported earlier.
