Selenium prices slip further as buyers prey on weaker Asian market

Selenium prices dropped further on Friday May 25 as a large buyer was able to conclude deals at lower prices in Asia and other consumers stepped back from the market to watch prices slide.
Metal Bulletin free-market selenium prices were $52-59 per lb on Friday, down 7.1% from prices a week earlier as weakness in domestic markets in China and India drove sellers to the spot market.
Consumer demand in Europe and North America was relatively stable....
