Fortune on track for commercial production at NICO in 2014

Fortune Minerals is on track to begin commercial production at its NICO gold, copper, cobalt and bismuth mining project in Canada at the end of 2014, company ceo Robin Goad said.
“We are looking at a 2014 start, which is subject to financing,” Goad told Metal Bulletin on the sidelines of the Cobalt Development Institute conference in Vancouver.
The company is seeking C$450 million (US$438 million) financing, ideally from Asian end-users of metal products, who would help shape the company’s production....
