European secondary aluminium ingot up as producers refuse low prices

European secondary aluminium ingot prices rose on the low end on Friday June 1, as producers in Italy – which usually find the weakest prices – refused to sell at last week’s lows. “In Italy, the main producers have decided to stay at higher numbers,” a trader said. “At last week’s prices they weren’t even paying the direct costs.”  DIN226 pressure....
