USW talks with USS, ArcelorMittal move forward

NEW YORK The United Steelworkers union and management at U.S. Steel Corp. and ArcelorMittal USA have concluded first-round negotiations to establish new four-year contracts, according to the union.
"Our group faces a tougher road this year than it did" when the existing contract was negotiated, the USW said in a statement to its members dated June 7. The current contracts are set to expire Sept. 1.....
