GKN Driveline breaks ground on forging facility in Mexico

CHICAGO — GKN Driveline has begun construction on a new forging facility in Celaya, Mexico.

"Mexico is a very important growth market for GKN Driveline," chief executive officer Andy Reynolds Smith said in a statement. "We have invested more than $100 million in our Mexican operations since 2005 that has allowed us to better supply 10 vehicle manufacturers in 16 cities throughout Mexico....
