Chinese ferro-chrome prices likely to fall soon, sources say

Chinese high-carbon ferro-chrome prices are expected to fall in the near term due to market weakness, participants told Metal Bulletin.
"The market has shown signs of softening already,” a Beijing trader said, pointing to the recent drop in chrome ore prices and ferro-chrome import prices.
"Buyers are very cautious now after seeing overseas suppliers offering to cut prices. Traders are afraid to buy," a trader in Shanghai said.....
