Asia aluminum growth potential said limited

NEW YORK — The growth potential for aluminum production capacity in the Asia-Pacific region is limited and the Chinese market can’t be expected to maintain the demand growth it has had over the past decade, according to speakers at the 2nd Annual Aluminum Summit in New York, hosted by AMM.

Steve Hodgson, chief executive of Moscow-based Rusal Marketing GmbH, said Wednesday that his company sees growth potential as "quite limited" in the region. "We’re not bullish about future growth within the region," he said.....
