Tenaris plans 650,000-ton US seamless pipe mill

TORONTO Tenaris SA plans to invest $1.5 billion to expand its U.S. operations, including the installation of a 650,000-ton-per-year seamless pipe mill, heat-treatment and premium-threading facilities, the company said late Thursday.
The Luxembourg-based steel tube and pipe maker said the new mill is expected to begin operations in 2016 and serve the "rapidly" growing U.S. market for oil country tubular goods (OCTG) and line pipe.....
