Nickel premiums remain at multiyear lows

NEW YORK U.S. nickel premiums remain at multiyear lows as the market continues to be well supplied while demand has stalled.
"Business has been steady to soft and it seems like theres plenty of material around," one trader said.
Premiums for melting grade material are still between 20 and 23 cents per pound, their lowest level in nine years, while plating premiums are stuck between 50 and 55 cents per pound, a nearly three-year low.....
