JW Aluminum adding 5¢/lb. alloy surcharge

NEW YORK — JW Aluminum Co. said it will introduce a 5-cent-per-pound surcharge on all alloys, just days after Jupiter Aluminum Corp. announced a similar move.

The Mount Holly, S.C.-based company will apply a 5-cent-per-pound "metal adjustment" to all new orders starting July 14, it said, adding that it would roll out a new pricing structure in the fourth quarter of this year.....
