CHICAGO Economic activity in the U.S. manufacturing sector contracted last month for the first time since July 2009, according to a survey of the nations purchasing executives.
Junes purchasing managers index (PMI) registered 49.7 percent, according to the Tempe, Ariz.-based Institute for Supply Management, down 3.8 points from 53.5 percent in May.....
