NEW YORK Construction may proceed on Nucor Corp.s direct-reduced iron (DRI) facility in Louisiana even as state and federal environmental agencies debate whether the site has been properly permitted.
The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) issued a response to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency questions on permitting for the DRI facility under construction in St. James Parish.....
