Navistar unveils clean emissions technology

CHICAGO — Truck and truck engine manufacturer Navistar International Corp. said it will introduce a next-generation clean engine technology to position it to meet greenhouse gas rules in advance of 2014 and 2017 requirements.

Navistar’s In-Cylinder Technology Plus (ICT+), which it said will also meet 2010 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) emissions regulations, combines the company’s in-cylinder engine expertise with urea-based after-treatment and is expected to be available....
