Iron, steel mill product deficit shrinks in May

CHICAGO The value of the U.S. trade deficit for iron and steel mill products shrank in May, and while copper remained in surplus, it registered a decline compared with April.
The iron and steel mill product trade deficit was valued at $715 million in May, down 23.5 percent from a $935-million deficit a month earlier, the Bureau of Economic Analysis reported Wednesday. While the value of imports for the product fell 11.2 percent, export values dropped only 0.3 percent month on month.....
