China challenges WTO steel ruling

NEW YORK China filed an appeal with the World Trade Organization (WTO) Friday challenging an earlier ruling that it had incorrectly applied duties to U.S. exports of grain-oriented electrical steel.
"China carefully assessed the case report and has determined that the panel decision, in a number of legal issues and interpretation of the law, is wrong. Therefore, we decided to appeal," Chinas Ministry of Commerce said on its website. "The WTO panel was unable to correctly interpret and apply provisions of the WTO anti-dumping agreement."....
