PITTSBURGH Schnitzer Steel Industries Inc. is working to upgrade its metals recycling and transload facility in Redding, Calif.
The Portland, Ore.-headquartered company has been granted a use permit from the Redding Planning Commission to expand an existing scrapyard, allowing for the processing of recyclable materials, including vehicles, appliances and construction and demolition debris.....
