NEW YORK Industrial services company Harsco Corp. has signed a seven-year, $15-million agreement with Indian high-carbon ferrochrome producer Metkore Alloys & Industries Ltd. to recover ferrochrome from steelmaking slag.
Harscos alloy recovery service, scheduled to start up in May 2013, is expected to reclaim nearly 40,000 tons of ferrochrome metal over the length of the contract, "both for in-country use....
