NEW YORK — Lead-acid batteries continue to trade at a steady high, with traders saying that supply is gradually loosening, although not enough to reduce prices.
"There’s been no change. Everyone is pretty unhappy, but the prices are the same," one buyer said.
"We’re getting in enough material, but it’s still a little slow," a second buyer said. "It’s going to take a little more time for the supply to come back."....
