CHICAGO — General Motors Ventures LLC has invested in NanoSteel Co., which designs nano-structured steel alloy materials.

GM Ventures, a division of Detroit-based General Motors Co. that invests in promising automotive technologies, joined lead shareholders EnerTech Capital and Fairhaven Capital Partners LLC, along with five other investors, to complete the Series C financing round.....
