Aluminum alloy prices slip as some grades rise

NEW YORK — Secondary aluminum alloy producers have been unable to hold the line on pricing, with last week’s slide in London Metal Exchange tags further weakening free-market transactions this week.

A380.1 prices dropped to a range of 97 to 99 cents per pound Monday from 98 to 99 cents per pound previously, while A319.1 prices fell to $1.03 to $1.05 per pound.....
