LOS ANGELES Most buyers of bar and structural products have just one question on their minds after this weeks $83-per-gross-ton increase in a benchmark scrap price: How much of a hike will producers seek?
The vast majority of buyers expect this weeks boost in AMMs consumer buying price for shredded automotive scrap in the Chicago marketto $410 per ton from $327 for Julyto set the stage for higher published prices after a recent series of large cuts.....
