PITTSBURGH A new auto shredder that will provide scrap for the northern Indiana and Chicago markets is getting the finishing touches in advance of a late August start date.
Rochester, Ind.-based Rochester Iron & Metal Inc. is installing a Wendt auto shredder at its 27-acre yard. Construction on the project began in October, and the 50-ton-per-hour shredder is expected to be processing material by....
