SFIA executive lays out recovery scenario

CHICAGO — The head of the Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA) has a vision for the industry’s future, and it involves the increased consumption of cold-formed steel.

"The most important goal we have is to assume a very proactive approach to developing the market," the SFIA’s newly appointed executive director, Larry W. Williams, told AMM. "So much has happened over the past four to five years setting the industry back on its heels, including competition from the wood and concrete industries." ....
