SHANGHAI, China Chinas steel exports fell sharply in July, reflecting weak steel market conditions that are expected to continue this month.
Exports totaled some 4.32 million tonnes last month, down about 17 percent from 5.22 million tonnes in June and 3 percent lower than a year earlier, according to preliminary Chinese customs data. However, year-to-date exports of 31.55 million tonnes remained 9.7 percent ahead of the first seven....
