NEW YORK Poor demand from China helped depress U.S. ferrous scrap exports in the first half of the year, despite growing demand from Turkey, the countrys largest offshore consumer.
U.S. ferrous scrap exporters shipped 11,255,179 tonnes of ferrous scrap in the first six months of 2012, down 7.5 percent from 12,166,396 tonnes in the same period last year.....
