Panama Canal to hike tolls for some vessels

NEW YORK The government of Panama has approved a proposed toll price increase for some vessels on the Panama Canal ahead of its expansions scheduled completion.
Under the revised pricing scheme, full containers, vehicle carriers, roll-on/roll-off carriers and general cargo carriers, among others, will see rates increase. Earlier proposals to hike container and breakbulk toll costs, however, have been eliminated, the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) said.....
