Hot-rolled sheet prices moving higher

NEW YORK U.S. sheet prices have inched up, with more steel service center buyers reporting deals at higher levels.
As of mid-day Wednesday, reported transaction levels for hot-rolled sheet averaged $33.25 per hundredweight ($665 per ton) f.o.b. Midwest mill, up from $33 per cwt at the end of last week.
Service center buyers told AMM that domestic mills have been sticking to higher levels since announcing price increases in July.....
