NEW YORK U.S. nonferrous scrap exports inched higher during the first six months of the year, buoyed by a stellar first quarter and strong aluminum scrap shipments.
Nonferrous scrap exports totaled 1,857,295 short tons, up 3.1 percent from the first six months of last year despite a weak performance in the second quarter, when overall volumes of the metal tracked by AMM slipped 3.1 percent to....
