PITTSBURGH — A Nunica, Mich., company that recently received approval to operate a scrap metal processing facility is now asking the state for permission to build two waterfront loading docks at the site.
Melching Inc., a demolition, dismantling and industrial remediation company, is in the process of tearing down a former paper mill in Muskegon, Mich. Melching wants to construct steel platforms at the 120-acre industrial site, which spans an entire mile of waterfront on....
