Recycler in compliance before raid: water board

NEW YORK NorthState Recycling Inc. was largely in compliance with a cleanup and abatement order prior to being raided by environmental authorities last week, the California Regional Water Quality Control Board told AMM.
Robert Crandall, assistant executive officer of the agencys Redding office, said that his office had been working with NorthState since April after issuing an order mandating that the recycler install a water treatment facility and containers to ensure rainwater did not....
