PITTSBURGH — Sims Metal Management Ltd. has purchased a chain of southern scrapyards to tap directly into the supply chain for securing tonnage, the company announced during its earnings conference call Wednesday.
The world’s largest recycler did not disclose how much it paid for Mobile, Ala.-based David’s Auto Shredding.....
