Caterpillar opens $200M excavator facility

CHICAGO Caterpillar Inc. has opened a 1.1-million-square-foot plant in Victoria, Texas, that will make hydraulic excavators.
The Peoria, Ill.-based company invested $200 million in the facility, has hired about 225 employees and plans to continue hiring based on demand as it ramps up production with additional models.....
