OmniSource executive takes charge at PSC

PITTSBURGH — PSC Metals Inc. has tapped an OmniSource Corp. executive to take over the company’s helm, naming Bob Brewer chief executive officer.
Brewer, a well-respected industry veteran who was with Steel Dynamics Inc.-owned OmniSource for 20 years, officially starts his new position Sept. 4.
Sources suggested that the appointment is aimed at installing leadership to provide direction to the Mayfield Heights, Ohio-based recycler, which earlier this month reported its second consecutive quarterly net loss (amm.com, Aug. 9).....
