PITTSBURGH Joseph B. Simon, a well-known and well-respected scrap industry veteran who ran a successful company and was active in trade associations, has died eight days after his 84th birthday.
Simon, of East Lansing, Mich., was involved in his familys scrap metal recycling business, Alma Iron & Metal Co. Inc., for 55 years, serving as the companys president and then chairman from 1974 to 2002.....
